With relatively favorable weather for mining activities, in December 2024, TKV's coal mining output exceeded the monthly average.
Raw coal production reached 3.56 million tons, consumption 4.4 million tons; excavated soil reached 11.3 million m3; tunnel excavation reached 24.97 meters.
Converted alumina mineral production reached 128 thousand tons, consumption 96.6 thousand tons. Copper concentrate production reached 6.46 thousand tons, production of 2.2 thousand tons of copper plate; 666 tons of zinc ingots; 19.5 thousand tons of steel billets.
In addition, 929 million kWh of electricity was produced and consumed; 6.85 thousand tons of explosives were produced, 9.9 thousand tons were consumed; and 4.72 tons of Ammonium Nitrate were consumed.
Completion of basic targets according to the operating plan brought TKV's total revenue in December 2024 to VND 17,417 billion.
Thus, the expected results in 2024, the total revenue of the Group is estimated at 168,222 billion VND, the expected profit is 6.23 trillion VND, reaching 142% of the annual plan.
In 2024, TKV produced 49.4 million tons of commercial coal; 37.48 million tons of raw coal; excavated soil and rock reached 143.6 million m3. The total number of tunnel meters reached 269,999 meters.
Coal consumption was 46.84 million tons, of which 39.9 million tons were supplied to households for electricity. Production of 1.41 million tons of converted alumina, consumption of 1.39 million tons. Copper concentrate was 107.2 thousand tons, copper plate production was 30.1 thousand tons, consumption of 30 thousand tons, zinc ingots were 9.16 thousand tons, steel billets were 173.5 thousand tons. Production of 9,535 billion kWh of electricity. The indicators of chemicals, industrial explosives, and basic mechanics were basically achieved.
The average salary of the whole Group is estimated at 17.95 million VND/person-month, of which coal production reaches 18.77 million VND/person-month.
Social security work is also actively concerned by the Group in 2024. Up to now, TKV has disbursed the construction project of Quang Ninh Lung Hospital, and a number of welfare projects, social security work (building schools, medical stations, clean water supply stations, repairing houses for poor households...) in the provinces with a value of about 355 billion VND.
TKV has donated to the Fund for the Poor, responding to the Prime Minister's campaign "No one is left behind" with the whole country joining hands to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses... with the amount of 118.2 billion VND. Supported localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods after storm No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024 with a total amount of 51.08 billion VND...
Entering 2025 with the goal of "Safety - Solidarity - Development - Efficiency" in January 2025, with the forecast that the weather will continue to be favorable for coal and mineral mining activities. The demand for coal shows signs of increasing, especially the demand for coal for power plants when rainfall decreases and electricity production enters the high production mobilization cycle. The demand and selling prices of minerals remain high and stable, TKV will boost production to maximize supply to the market.

It is expected that Alumina products will reach 126,000 thousand tons, copper concentrate will reach 8.4 thousand tons, copper plate will reach 2.3 thousand tons... The target is to produce 960 million kWh of electricity, 4.6 thousand tons of explosives; 7.3 thousand tons of Ammonium Nitrate....
To complete the set targets, TKV will focus on preparing sufficient conditions in terms of materials, technology, human resources, etc. to ensure stable production from the first days of 2025.
