TKV has a platform for researching ERP applications
The consulting unit has just completed a survey of the current governance status at Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) after more than a month of working directly at professional departments and member units. This is considered the initial basis for assessing the Group's readiness before developing a plan to implement the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).
The survey work was deployed from the beginning of June 2026 with a wide scope, including the fields of underground coal mining, open-pit, minerals, chemicals, mechanical engineering, warehousing, consumption and specialized departments at the group's agency.
By mid-July, the survey team had completed direct work at professional departments and 13 member units, and basically completed the collection of information from other units.
From the initial survey results, the consulting unit assessed that key nghiệp vụ processes such as finance - accounting, materials and consumption have met current regulations and have a foundation for researching ERP application.
One content that the consulting unit especially noted is shared data management (Master Data). Data standardization, overlapping code review and building a centralized data management mechanism are considered one of the important conditions before researching and deploying ERP.
In addition to processes and data, the survey report also mentions the current status of information technology infrastructure. Consolidating the organization, improving the capacity of the information technology team and strengthening network safety and security will be contents that need to be concerned in the process of researching and building the Group's digital governance system. For TKV, a multi-industry, multi-field corporation with a complex production value chain - thoroughly surveying the current status and fully assessing differences in governance between units is considered an important preparation step to develop a plan suitable to the Group's specific characteristics.
Researching and deploying ERP is an objective requirement
According to Mr. Le Quang Dung - Member of the Member Council of TKV Group, the consulting unit needs to study more deeply the specifics in cash flow management, material management and cost calculation methods of TKV.
The ERP system needs to be researched in the direction of step-by-step implementation, ensuring effective inheritance and connection with the Group's existing software, and at the same time strengthening the application of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support data standardization and automation of nghiệp vụ processes.
Meanwhile, General Director of TKV Group Vu Anh Tuan affirmed that the research and deployment of ERP is an objective requirement, in line with the digital transformation orientation of the Party, the Government and the Group's development strategy.
To develop a feasible plan, suitable to the specific characteristics of TKV, the immediate important thing is to have an survey report that accurately reflects the current state of governance, nghiệp vụ processes, data and information technology infrastructure of the entire system. Professional boards, working groups and member units need to proactively coordinate closely with consulting units, provide complete information, and deeply exchange about the specific characteristics in governance, production and operation to ensure accurate input data, as a basis for building implementation plans close to the actual conditions of the Group.
General Director Vu Anh Tuan also noted that the research process needs to thoroughly grasp the principle of implementation according to an appropriate roadmap, select priority contents to implement first, and gradually complete the system on the basis of effectively inheriting existing technology platforms. The development of the plan must closely follow the specific management characteristics of TKV, ensuring feasibility, efficiency and meeting the long-term development requirements of the Group.
Group leaders will create all conditions for the consulting unit and related departments to continue to complete the survey report. Requesting the entire system to raise awareness, unify determination and promote the spirit of responsibility in the preparation process, considering this as an important foundation to gradually realize the goal of improving management capacity, promoting digital transformation and sustainable development of TKV in the new stage.
