The Nui Beo - Ha Tu - Processing Center - Khanh village coal transportation belt system project, Cao Xanh ward, invested by Hon Gai Coal Selection Company, under Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV), with an investment capital of 761 billion VND.
The project includes 4 conveyor belt lines with a total length of nearly 8.9km, width of 1.2m; capacity from 1.8 to 4.2 million tons of coal/year, connecting from Nui Beo mine, through Ha Tu mine, coal concentrated warehouse +55 to Lang Khanh port.
When completed, the system will transport all commercial coal from Nui Beo, Ha Tu and some coal mines in Hon Gai region to the centralized coal warehouse (after supplying to Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant) to Lang Khanh port for consumption.
The conveyor belts are designed to be closed, contributing to synchronizing the stages of production, processing, transportation and consumption of coal; gradually replacing car transportation, reducing dust, noise and limiting environmental impact.
After a period of construction, the project has been basically completed. TKV leaders requested Hon Gai Coal Selection Company to drastically urge contractors and coordinate with Ha Tu Coal and Nui Beo Coal to accelerate progress to soon connect the entire route, striving to complete the entire project in August 2026.

The implementation process must effectively implement thrift, combat wastefulness, ensure labor safety and absolutely ensure the quality of works, and not neglect quality because of progress.
In particular, it is necessary to synchronously install a 360-degree AI camera system at key locations to optimally control issues related to safety and security.
The project to invest in the construction of the Nui Beo - Ha Tu - Processing Center - Khanh Village coal transportation belt system was approved for investment policy by the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, and also approved for investors in June 2023.
The conveyor belt area passing through is basically located in the mining area of TKV member units and partly passes through the forest land area, stretching from the +34 level of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company to the +200 level of Ha Tu Coal Joint Stock Company, through the concentrated coal warehouse at level +55 (Phase 2 Processing Center) and the connection point with receiving systems at Lang Khanh port, belonging to Ha Phong, Ha Tu, Ha Khanh wards of the old Ha Long city, now Ha Tu and Cao Xanh wards, Quang Ninh province.
