The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and PVI Insurance Corporation (PVI Insurance) have signed a Cooperation Agreement to establish a comprehensive cooperation framework in the period 2026 - 2027, aiming to accompany Vietnamese businesses to improve competitiveness, develop sustainably and deeply integrate into the global economy.
The agreement was signed in the context that Vietnamese businesses are facing many new opportunities and challenges from the process of international integration, digital transformation, green transformation and increasingly high requirements for risk management and sustainable development. On that basis, VCCI and PVI Insurance agreed to promote practical coordination activities to support businesses to develop stably, improve adaptability and increase competitiveness in domestic and international value chains.
According to the content of the agreement, the two sides will coordinate to implement business support programs in accordance with the socio-economic development orientation of the Government and the industry development strategy in each period. At the same time, the two sides will strengthen the connection between VCCI members and the customer and partner ecosystem of PVI Insurance in each field, industry and economic region.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ho Sy Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) emphasized that in the context of the economy entering a new stage of development with higher requirements for competitiveness, governance and integration, Vietnam needs more strong, well-developed enterprises with leadership capacity such as PVI Insurance to create momentum to promote overall growth of the economy.
PVI Insurance is one of the typical enterprises in the non-life insurance sector, with financial capacity, risk management experience and a widespread service system. The establishment of comprehensive cooperation between VCCI and PVI Insurance not only opens up practical support opportunities for the business community, but also contributes to promoting the formation of Vietnamese enterprises with increasing scale, capacity and competitiveness, making positive contributions to the country's sustainable growth" - Mr. Hung shared.
Through this cooperation, PVI Insurance will promote the strengths and capabilities of the non-life insurance brand, holding the No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market in terms of market share, to provide comprehensive and specialized insurance solutions for the business sector. Key products and services include property and technical insurance, maritime insurance, liability insurance, human insurance, motor vehicle insurance, energy insurance... and many insurance solutions serving production, business, trade and import-export activities.
