In parallel with the result that 100% of course I standard students are invited to work immediately after graduation, the Program is accelerating the expansion of training scale to ensure the goal of providing 10,000 - 20,000 AI talents within 2 years, meeting the increasing demand for technology human resources of the country.
The program "Training 20,000 Real-Fight AI Talents" at VinUni University (under Vingroup Corporation) was launched in January 2026 to respond to Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and the direction of the General Secretary on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, in order to contribute to the development of high-tech human resources for the country. According to the plan, the program will train a maximum of 5,000 students in 2026 and continue to accelerate strongly to complete the plan in 2027.
Immediately after opening course I in April 2026 with nearly 500 students - VinUni opened 2 more courses with a total number of students up to 2,000 people, selected from about 10,000 registered applications.
Besides the expansion speed, the program has quickly affirmed the quality of training with impressive output results. 100% of the 373/500 course I students meeting VinUni competency standards have received job invitation letters from Vingroup with an income of nearly 50 million VND/month. Currently, 95% of students have officially taken on professional positions such as AI Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Development, Product Management, Professional Analysis... at VinFast, VinSmart Future, VinMotion, VinSOC and many units within and outside the Group's ecosystem.
The success of the program "Training 20,000 real-world AI talents" comes from three core factors: student quality, lecturer quality, trainers and real-world training model, with real problems, real data, real experts and real job opportunities from the business ecosystem.

Regarding input quality, nearly 40% of students have graduated from university or postgraduate level, including engineers, bachelors, masters and doctors; the rest are mainly final year students of STEM majors from 141 universities such as: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, FPT University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Hanoi University of Industry.
In particular, the program also attracts students from 20 international universities, including prestigious schools such as New York University (USA), Monash University (Australia), KAIST (Korea), Kyushu University (Japan), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and TU Dresden (Germany).
Regarding the quality of lecturers and trainers, the program gathers nearly 200 lecturers, trainers, experts and project managers from VinUni, Vingroup, and many leading technology companies such as: Amazon, Google, Aurora AI, Foxconn, Backbase, Zalo AI, SHB, CMC and Viettel. Under the guidance of a team of experts, students have solved nearly 160 AI simulation problems and more than 200 practical AI problems in fields such as autonomous vehicles, robots, personalized learning, multilingual translation, network security, data and operation optimization.
Regarding the program, through the Challenge-Based Learning model (learning through solving practical challenges), the entire training process is co-created by VinUni and the enterprise, in accordance with the way the enterprise assigns tasks, uses and recruits personnel.

Students not only learn on simulation problems but also directly solve AI problems of businesses. In 12 weeks of training, students go through three weeks of foundation learning, three weeks of working in a business simulation environment at VinUni and six weeks of directly participating in technology projects at the business. At the business, every two weeks, students are comprehensively scored for professional competence, product quality, spirit of cooperation, working discipline and project implementation efficiency.
Prof. Dr. Duong Nguyen Vu, Vice Rector of VinUni University, said: "We do not aim to train one more AI course but build a training model where learners' abilities are verified right in the working process. When abilities are verified by practical problems and in accordance with business recruitment standards, learners can start solving work immediately after graduation, instead of having to go through a retraining phase. The results of the first course show that this model is creating AI human resources that meet practical requirements and can immediately participate in large-scale technology projects.
Initial results show that the real-world training model is contributing to narrowing the gap between training and recruitment, while opening up a new approach in developing high-quality AI human resources. Through the program, Vingroup expects to contribute to building a real-world AI human resource team, meeting the development needs of businesses and contributing to the goal of making Vietnam a technology and innovation center of the region.
Students participating in the "Training 20,000 Real-Fight AI Talents" Program are 100% tuition-free, and also receive living support of 8 million VND/month throughout the study period. The program graduation certificate is jointly issued by VinUni University and Vingroup Corporation, recognizing the real-fighting ability of students and creating conditions to connect with career opportunities in the Vingroup ecosystem as well as many technology enterprises at home and abroad.
