Marking the second consecutive year of being honored at one of the leading prestigious medical awards in Asia. In particular, Vinmec's palliative care model for cancer patients has attracted the attention of the international medical community, opening up a comprehensive approach in treatment.
As the only Vietnamese representative to participate in the nomination, Vinmec won in all 3 important categories: "Health System of the Year", "Patient Care Initiative of the Year" and "ESG Program of the Year".
This is the second consecutive time Vinmec has won the highest award in the Health System of the Year category. This is a worthy result for its continuous efforts to innovate on the basis of clinical model - research - training, specifically pioneering the application of high technology such as robot surgery, 3D medical printing, cell and gene therapy, creating superior and differentiated treatment capabilities.

With 17 facilities nationwide and a comprehensive international standard system (JCI, ACC, RTAC, AABB), Vinmec not only improves treatment quality but also gradually establishes new standards for Vietnamese healthcare, thereby affirming its position as a pioneering academic healthcare system in the region.
In addition to the above category, Vinmec also excellently won the award in the "Patient Care Initiative of the Year" category. Vinmec is particularly impressive with its palliative care model for cancer patients. Instead of waiting until the final stage as usual, patients will receive psychological and physical support and improve their quality of life right from the time of diagnosis. In addition to early palliative care, patients are also comprehensively cared for by an inter-specialized team including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists and social workers.

The initiative was first implemented at Vinmec Central Park and quickly showed effectiveness. Patients control symptoms better, are fully supported physically and mentally; families have understanding and active participation in the treatment process.
Vinmec's next category was honored as the ESG Program of the Year, recognizing long-term efforts in sustainable development and contributions to the community. Vinmec focuses on creating sustainable value for three main groups: patients, the community and medical staff.
In 2025, Vinmec supported 1,139 patients in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 178 billion VND, and reached more than 900 million people through digital medical platforms. The system also implemented more than 60 free screening programs, helping nearly 7,000 people to be diagnosed with diseases and receive timely medical advice. For medical staff, Vinmec focuses on building a "Caring" working culture, promoting welfare, career development opportunities, integration and clear goals orientation.

According to the Organizing Committee of Healthcare Asia Awards, with innovative thinking, Vinmec's initiatives are not only internal improvements but also suggestive for the entire healthcare industry in improving the quality of care in a more comprehensive and sustainable direction.
Sharing about the award, Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Dung, General Director of Vinmec Health System - Vingroup Group said: "The comprehensive, humane care ecosystem revolving around patients is built from Vinmec's philosophy of putting patients at the center. The 3 important awards from the international medical community just now are recognition and also motivation for us to continue to improve the model, gradually transfer and replicate, contributing to sharing the psychological and physical pain for patients, bringing high-quality and sustainable medical services".
Healthcare Asia Awards 2026 gathers hundreds of nominations from reputable healthcare systems in the region, with strict evaluation processes based on clinical efficacy, innovation and community value. Previously, in 2025, Vinmec was the first healthcare system in Vietnam to be honored in the "Healthcare System of the Year" and "Healthcare Technology Innovation of the Year" categories at the Healthcare Asia Awards. The fact that it has been honored for two consecutive years is proof of the professional capacity and clear progress of Vietnamese healthcare in approaching international standards, gradually making a mark on the global medical map.
