Conquering the JCI Golden Green in just 15 months, Vinmec Central Park pioneers in innovating the treatment model
Vinmec Central Park is the third facility in the Vinmec Medical System, with an investment of 1,200 billion VND, with the orientation from the beginning of operating according to international standards in the Southern region. The hospital is built on a campus of nearly 39,000 m2, with a scale of 178 beds, 16 specialties and acute centers such as cardiology, oncology, diagnostic imaging and testing.

The equipment system at Vinmec Central Park is invested synchronously, moderning at the world's top, from CT 640 sliced, MRI 3.0 Tesla to Hybrid operating room and digital data management infrastructure. Along with the technology is a team of well-trained experts, regularly consulting and cooperating with major medical centers in the United States, Europe and Asia.
After only 15 months of official operation, in June 2017, Vinmec Central Park passed the strict assessment period of Joint Commission International (JCI) - the leading health quality assessment organization in the US - with a score of 9.84/10 in the first assessment. This is an impressive result in the context that the JCI Golden Green scar is recognized in more than 90 countries, with 285 standards and 1,166 strict assessment criteria, focusing on patient safety, treatment effectiveness and comprehensive quality management.

In a decade of development, Vinmec Central Park has recorded strong growth in scale of operations and professional capacity. From nearly 18,000 outpatient visits in the first year, by 2025, the hospital will serve more than 130,000 visits per year, bringing the total number of customers to nearly a million. The scale of the hospital has been expanded from 16 to 22 departments, and 4 key centers have been formed to meet the needs of intensive treatment for domestic people and international patients.
Along with growth are pioneering professional milestones. In December 2017, Vinmec Central Park became the first independent TAVI Cardiovascular Intervention Center in Vietnam. The technique of replacing the main artery valve through the skin - "golden standard" for elderly patients, high risk of surgery - was implemented with a success rate of 95.9%, making the hospital the TAVI center with the largest number of patients in the country at that time.
In 2023, Vinmec Central Park was recognized as ACC - Center of Excellence in the cardiovascular field. By 2024, the hospital will join the Cleveland Clinic Connected network, directly connecting with one of the world's most prestigious healthcare systems, expanding professional cooperation, training and clinical standardization according to US standards.

Entering its 10th year, Vinmec Central Park continues to affirm its pioneering role in technology when for the first time in Vietnam, it successfully deployed the technique of placing deep brain electricity (SEEG) under an advanced positioning system, helping to accurately examine the abdominal pain in children with antiteropeia. The technique was performed under the consultation of experts from Japan and the Cleveland Clinic (USA).
Along with methods such as brain surgery and nerve adjustment using X-ray stimulation, Vinmec Central Park is currently one of the few medical facilities in Vietnam that comprehensively master the treatment techniques for complex neurological diseases.
Strengthening the foundation of excellence, creating a value-based medical model
In the next decade, Vinmec Central Park identifies its development vision as strengthening an excellent foundation, moving towards a value-based medical model, focusing on patients. The focus is on developing a team of high-quality, medical ethics-rich personnel, along with investing in modern technology and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and optimize treatment effectiveness.
In parallel with expertise, the hospital aims to standardize the entire patient care process, from reception, examination to treatment and post-hospital monitoring.
