As a humanitarian organization operating through relief, development and policy advocacy programs, World Vision Vietnam always strives to improve the quality of life for the community, especially children, the poor and those in difficult circumstances. Since 1988, World Vision has been present and serving the community in 14 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

World Vision and its partners have improved the lives of more than 200 million vulnerable children worldwide, including 200,000 children in Vietnam.
Regarding the “Happy Children” campaign, this is a practical step related to raising awareness about child labor. From there, promote timely actions, so that no child has to work illegally.

According to the National Survey on Child Labor by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2018, Vietnam has up to 1 million children under the age of 17 who have to work hard to earn money, thereby limiting their learning opportunities, affecting their sustainable employment opportunities. Vietnam is in the process of striving to reduce the rate of child labor, but to achieve this goal, it still takes a lot of time and work.
To make the campaign truly new and highly influential, World Vision chose to present close, intuitive perspectives, through the lens of the “child workers”. At the same time, continuously update and provide a series of information about child labor on the project’s platforms, cooperating with influential people.
The campaign has developed the comic series “The Unstable Interview”, with the main character being Capybara, who is about to turn 18 with a CV full of “skills, experience, and experience” from his early working life.

The series is both trendy, humorous and satirical about the issue of child labor, thereby conveying a positive message, calling on everyone to take action.
The “Happy Children” campaign hopes to contribute to opening up a bright future for children - where they are free to explore, play and grow up happily.
