She said: "Today I came to receive the pre-ordered silver. I intended to buy more while the price was adjusting down, but the store announced that it would not sell today.
Also on Tran Nhan Tong street, Mr. Ngo The Tuan (37 years old, Cua Nam ward) planned to buy 10 taels of silver. But when he arrived at the store, he was informed by the staff that the store would stop receiving orders on weekends and would reopen for sale next Monday.
Last week, I ordered 5 taels of silver at the store, according to the appointment, I would receive it in August. Today I returned and intended to buy another 10 taels of silver bars, but the store announced that it would have to wait until next week to sell, so I had to go home" - Mr. Tuan shared.
While some people come to buy, many other customers consider selling.
On Xa Dan street, Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Linh (Kim Lien ward) said: "I bought 6 taels of silver from April 2025. Up to now, even if the price has decreased, I still make a profit. I am hesitant whether to sell it or not because I am worried that the price may continue to decrease.
Ms. Linh added that she monitors the market every day before deciding to trade. "Silver prices change every day, so I want to consider carefully before selling" - she said.

As of 12:15 PM, the price of Kim Phuc Loc 999 silver bars (1 tael) of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Company Limited (Sacombank-SBJ) was listed at 2.856 - 2.995 million VND/tael (buying - selling); down 51,000 VND/tael on the buying side and down 11,000 VND/tael on the selling side compared to yesterday morning.
At the same time, the price of 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group was listed at the threshold of 2.549 - 2.628 million VND/tael (buying - selling); down 230,000 VND/tael on the buying side and down 237,000 VND/tael on the selling side compared to yesterday morning.
The price of 999 silver ingots (1kg) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group is listed at 67.973 - 70.079 million VND/kg (buying - selling); down 6.133 million VND/kg on the buying side and down 6.32 million VND/kg on the selling side compared to yesterday morning.
On the world market, as of 12:10 PM on March 21 (Vietnam time), the world silver price was listed at 69.63 USD/ounce; down 4.27 USD compared to yesterday morning.
