Talking to Lao Dong reporter, a representative of Ancarat store in Xa Dan said that September 26 was the opening day of the new branch, but the number of customers was much larger than expected: "In the morning alone, nearly 500 customers came to trade here. We have prepared gifts for guests to arrive early and some incentives during the opening week from September 26 to October 5, 2025" - this person said.
Not only Xa Dan, silver shops in Cau Giay district also witnessed a long wait-and-see queue. Mr. Le Minh Hai (29 years old, Cau Giay district) shared: "Seeing the increase in silver prices, I went to Phu Quy to sell. I waited for more than 30 minutes and it was not my turn. Customers come and go continuously".
Ms. Tran Thu Trang (38 years old, in Nam Tu Liem) said she had ordered silver a month ago. "This afternoon I went to the store to receive the goods, it took me nearly an hour to get them. The staff said that the number of customers coming to get money to deposit has also increased sharply this week" - she said.
According to store owners, the increase in silver purchases is not only due to jewelry demand but also because many people consider silver a safe store of choice in the context of fluctuating gold prices. Despite the arrangement of additional stalls and staff, the transaction was still prolonged when the number of customers exceeded expectations.
Observers say the current silver fever reflects the people's investment trend to prevent risks. The fact that buyers are willing to queue for decades, even waiting for months to own the product shows that the silver market is heating up, not only in terms of consumption but also in terms of store value.
