Recorded on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi), on April 8, the buying and selling atmosphere was bustling as the number of customers coming to transact continuously increased, despite the high price of silver.
At a store on this street, staff said that the unit does not limit the number of customers ordering silver. However, due to a sudden increase in demand, the delivery time has been extended.
Present at the store as scheduled, Ms. Do Linh Dan (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) said that she ordered silver from December 26, 2025 and only came to receive the goods today. "I ordered 5-tael type from the end of last year, now it's my turn to take it. The waiting time is quite long but there is no other way because the current demand is very large" - she said.
According to Ms. Linh Dan, although she just received the goods, she still intends to buy more because she expects silver prices to continue to increase. "I also want to buy more, but the current price is already higher than before, so I am hesitant and have not decided immediately" - she shared.

According to him, silver is an investment channel suitable for his personal financial capacity. "Compared to gold, silver has a softer price, so it is within my spending range. I choose to buy gradually to save, not too much but still can ensure value" - Mr. Dung said.
Mr. Dung added that having to wait to receive goods for a long time is something that has been foreseen. "I decided to buy to save for a long time, so waiting a few months does not affect too much. The invoice I ordered is scheduled to be returned on September 28, 2026" - he shared.
Not only on Tran Nhan Tong street, but also recorded in Xa Dan street area (Hanoi), silver transaction activities also took place quite bustlingly. Here, many stores recorded continuous customers entering and leaving.
Ms. Bui Kim Oanh (Kim Lien ward, Hanoi) - a customer who came to transact in this area - said that she had just bought 1 tael of silver. "Although the store is quite crowded, the transaction process takes place quickly, without having to wait too long" - Ms. Oanh said.
According to Ms. Oanh, choosing to buy silver at the present time stems from a need for savings. "I don't buy in large quantities, I only buy in moderation and leave it as a way to keep money" - she said.

As of 11:50 am on April 8, the price of Kim Phuc Loc 999 silver bars (1 tael) of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank-SBJ) listed at the threshold of 2.871-1.955 million VND/tael (buying - selling); an increase of 114,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday morning.
At the same time, the price of 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group was listed at 2.873 - 2.962 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
The price of 999 silver ingots (1kg) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group is listed at 76.613 - 78.986 million VND/kg (buying - selling).
On the world market, as of 11:50 AM on April 8 (Vietnam time), the world silver price was listed at 76.22 USD/ounce; up 4.15 USD compared to yesterday morning.
