Recorded on Tran Nhan Tong and Mai Hac De streets (Hanoi) on March 14, from early morning, many people were present in front of large gold stores to wait for their turn to trade. On Tran Nhan Tong street, Ms. Do Thuy Linh (Bach Mai ward, Hanoi) said that she came to the store quite early and had to wait about 1.5 hours to buy gold. After completing the transaction, she held in her hand a tael of gold she had just bought and shared that waiting for quite a long time but still felt satisfied.
I bought 1 tael of gold to save for my child later. When I saw the price decrease compared to before, I took the opportunity to stop by to buy, considering it as preparing for future family matters" - Ms. Linh said.
According to Ms. Linh, in the past, she also bought gold a few times at times when prices adjusted. However, due to busy work, she cannot always buy at the right time. Therefore, when she saw the price decrease in the recent session, she decided to take advantage of the time to go to the store.
Similarly, Mr. Do Trung Hieu (Lang ward, Hanoi) was also present in this area from the beginning of the morning. He said that he waited about 1 hour before his turn to transact and bought 2 taels of gold rings.
Recently, I intended to buy a little more gold to save. When I saw the price decrease compared to the previous days, I took the opportunity to buy it right away" - Mr. Hieu shared.
According to Mr. Hieu, gold is still one of the familiar channels to maintain value, so he chooses to buy little by little. "I consider this as a savings asset, each time I buy a little to save gradually" - he said.
Mr. Hieu added that on the last two days of the week (Saturday and Sunday), the gold price of brands usually remains unchanged compared to the previous session. Therefore, he took the opportunity to buy immediately when he saw that the price was lower than in recent days.

At 9:37 am, world gold prices were listed around the threshold of 5,017.7 USD/ounce, down 105.3 USD compared to the previous day.
The sharp decline of the international market is affecting domestic gold prices.
