Gold may increase due to the simultaneous increase in US and previously European and Asian stock markets. US stocks set a new record.
Investors are rushing to pour money into high-risk assets, including stocks, as Beijing and Washington are about to sign a first-term trade deal and China are releasing better-than-expected economic data.
Many believe that the result of this deal will directly affect gold prices in the coming sessions.
Meanwhile, the USD and the yuan (NDT) increased sharply. The NDT even reached a 5-month high against the USD after the US removed the "labe" of currency manipulation against China.
