"Many times I came here to queue, but couldn't buy gold rings because the store didn't sell them. Today I came early, the staff announced that they were selling 3 taels of gold per person, so I was able to buy 1 tael."
Ms. Pham Mai Huong (Hai Ba Trung district) - a customer buying gold rings at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi) - shared:
"For the past few weeks, most stores have not had a fixed time frame to open for gold ring sales. I asked the staff many times but they also did not know the exact time of sale. This morning, I continued to come at 8:40 to wait to buy. Currently, the store is opening for sale a maximum of 3 taels of gold per person."

As of 10:40 a.m. on January 5, the price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group was at 83.5 - 85 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The difference between buying and selling prices of SJC gold at DOJI Group is at 1.5 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 84.1 - 85.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company is at 1.4 million VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI was listed at 84 - 85 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 150,000 VND/tael for buying and an increase of 300,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of the previous trading session.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 84.6 - 85.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 1.5 million VND/tael for buying and 1 million VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of last week's trading session.
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 10:50 a.m. on January 5 (Vietnam time) is at 2,639.725 USD/ounce.
