Depositing 1 billion VND at BIDV after 2 years, how much interest will you receive?
Customers can quickly calculate the interest amount according to the formula:
Interest = Deposit amount x deposit interest rate %/12 x number of months deposited
For example, customers deposit 1 billion VND at BIDV with a term of 24 months, enjoying an interest rate of 6%/year.
Estimated interest amount:
1,000,000,000,000 × 6% / 12 × 24 = 120,000,000,000 VND
Thus, after 2 years, the deposit of 1 billion VND at BIDV can bring in about 120 million VND in interest if the current listed interest rate is applied.
In case customers deposit the same amount of money for a term of 36 months with an interest rate of 6%/year, the estimated interest received is:
1. 000. 000. 000 × 6% / 12 × 36 = 180. 000. 000 VND
Thus, after 3 years, the deposit of 1 billion VND can receive about 180 million VND in interest at the current interest rate.
However, when depositing savings for a long time, customers need to consider their capital needs, the ability to fluctuate interest rates and choose a suitable term.
