HDBank has the highest interest rate of 7.6%/year
According to HDBank's deposit interest rate schedule for individual customers, the highest deposit interest rate at the counter for a 13-month term is 7.6%/year for LS13 type 1. For a 12-month term, LS12 type 1 has an interest rate of 7.2%/year.
However, this is not a mass-applied interest rate. HDBank clearly states that the 12-month interest rate of type 1 is 7.2%/year and the 13-month interest rate of type 1 is 7.6%/year applied to savings of at least 500 billion VND or more/savings card, not applying the early interest and periodic interest forms.
For customers depositing common amounts such as 1 billion VND, depositors should refer to regular HDBank savings interest rates or online savings interest rates.
In the VND online savings channel, HDBank lists end-of-term interest rates at 5.0%/year for 6-month terms; 5.3%/year for 12-month terms; 5.5%/year for 13- and 15-month terms; 5.6%/year for 18-month terms; 5.0%/year for 24- and 36-month terms.
Specifically, Vikki Online savings product has an interest rate of 5.65%/year for a 6-month term; 5.95%/year for a 12-month term and 6.0%/year for a 13-month term.
Depositing 1 billion VND at HDBank, how much interest will you receive?
The formula for calculating savings interest is given by HDBank according to the actual balance, the number of days of balance maintenance and the interest rate for calculating interest; the interest rate is calculated at a percentage of %/year, one year is 365 days.
To make it easier for depositors to visualize, interest can be estimated according to the usual formula:
Interest = Deposit amount x interest rate %/year x number of months deposited/12 months
