In 2024, the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor issued a plan to propagate, disseminate and educate the law to employees, including organizing 11 propaganda sessions on drug prevention, crime, prostitution and social evils for more than 2,000 employees of non-state enterprises.
Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor also directed trade unions at all levels to develop plans to implement propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, focusing on propaganda on drug prevention and control, crime, prostitution and social evils to trade union officials, union members, and employees of non-state enterprises, ensuring that 100% of grassroots trade union organizations organize or coordinate in implementing propaganda and legal dissemination work for employees, contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety.
The forms of propaganda are also increasingly diverse and rich through mid-term and final conferences, conferences for workers, thematic conferences with workers; organizing mobile propaganda, propaganda on social networking sites zalo, facebook of the unit; propaganda integrated in the Month of action against drugs (June), Month of action against HIV/AIDS (December), the anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28), Vietnam Law Day (November 9) ...
Coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Quang Ninh Provincial Police to disseminate newly passed legal contents, cases and matters related to complex social evils; coordinate with press agencies.
The Trade Union in the enterprise has integrated the content of propaganda on the law on prevention and combat of social evils into labor conferences, training conferences, dialogue conferences with laborers... Through propaganda activities, PBGDPL aims to equip knowledge, raise awareness of law compliance of laborers, contribute to good compliance with state laws, especially the work of preventing and combating drugs, prostitution, human trafficking, loan sharking, disguised gambling, traffic safety, security and order in the province.
In particular, trade unions at all levels have promoted their core role in propaganda and legal consultancy, coordinating with the government and functional agencies to send members of the Trade Union Executive Committee to participate in conferences, seminars, and training on propaganda and legal dissemination. Zalo groups of enterprises, production teams, and production lines have all operated effectively in propagating documents with various contents on crime prevention and control and social evils. With many topics, using effective and diverse propaganda methods, with different contents, including legal contents on prevention and control of social evils organized by trade unions, they have contributed to building the image of cultured workers, with healthy lifestyles, not violating social evils and strictly complying with the laws, rules and regulations of enterprises and localities.
In the coming time, to effectively carry out propaganda work, PBGDPL to prevent and combat social evils among workers, Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor continues to direct all levels of Trade Unions in coordination to innovate the content and methods of propaganda with the motto "directing activities to the grassroots", "prevention from early, from afar, from the grassroots"; strengthen training, build a core team with professional skills in legal propaganda to promptly bring the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to workers, limit violations of the law, create favorable conditions to promote economic development, maintain political security, social order and safety in the province.
