According to information issued from the store, the quantity of plain round gold rings sold this morning is unlimited, people who want to buy are lining up to wait for transactions on the 2nd floor. The number of people who want to sell continues to increase, the store still distributes vouchers in line.
At 9:27 a.m. this morning, the number of waiting for gold ring transactions continued to increase. Ms. Vu Hoa Mai (My Dinh, Hanoi) - a customer coming to the store to buy plain round gold rings - said: "I just arrived and the security guard asked me to line up in the lobby because the number of transactions inside the store was large, not ensuring waiting seats. I have a little savings for the whole year to buy 5 taels of plain round gold rings as if looking back at my achievements in the past year".
Similarly, Mr. Vu Quoc Cuong (Cau Giay, Hanoi) was surprised by the bustling transaction scene and shared: "I went to the store staff to coordinate to the 2nd floor to buy, the 1st floor to sell. The price of gold fluctuated by hundreds of thousands, not much, but because there was a wedding, the couple came to buy it as gifts. In the past, wedding gifts were only over 4 million VND/person, now they are over 15 million VND/person".
Sitting in line to buy, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh (Tay Ho ward, Hanoi) said: "If I wait a long time, I plan to go to another brand to buy because many places only need a deposit and then get gold. I bought a small quantity but had to wait a long time for my turn."
Besides customers who want to buy, there are many people waiting for the sale to make a profit, Mr. Bui Quang Phu (Cau Dien, Hanoi) said: "When the price of gold increases, I see many people selling, selling or buying have to queue up. If I only had a little time and took advantage of the deal, I might have to leave in the middle. I will withdraw my savings at the bank at the end of the year with interest, and I will sell some more gold to contribute to repairing the house I am living in."

Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold bars at 154.2-156.2 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out).
At the same time of the survey, SJC listed the price of plain round gold rings at 150.3-153.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 400,000 VND/tael for buying and 600,000 VND/tael for selling.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 152.2-155.2 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out).
On the world market, as of 11:38 a.m. on December 17 (Vietnam time), world gold prices recovered, listed around 4,320.2 USD/ounce, up 18.9 USD.
