Article 22, Decree 168/2025/ND-CP stipulates the duties and powers of the commune-level business registration agency as follows:
1. Receive the business household registration dossier; consider the validity of the dossier and issue or refuse to issue a business household registration according to the provisions of law.
2. Guiding business households and business household establishers on documents, procedures, and processes for registering business households.
3. Coordinate the development, management and operation of an information system on business household registration operating in the area; periodically report to the People's Committees at the commune level, business registration agencies under the Department of Finance and relevant agencies on the status of business household registration in the area according to regulations on the reporting regime of state administrative agencies.
4. Providing information on business household registration in the area to state management agencies and other relevant agencies as prescribed by law.
5. Directly monitor, inspect or request competent state agencies to monitor and inspect business households according to the content in the business household registration dossier.
6. Request business households to report on their compliance with the regulations on business households in this Decree to carry out state management work.
7. Requesting a business household to temporarily suspend business in a conditional industry or profession when receiving a document from a competent state agency on a business household in a conditional industry or profession but not meeting the conditions prescribed by law.
8. Revok and restore the business household registration certificate according to the provisions of this decree.
9. Preside over and coordinate with relevant state management agencies to carry out the digitization, standardization, data conversion, updating and supplementing information related to business household registration according to local laws into the database on business household registration.
Thus, the commune-level business registration agency has the above tasks and powers.
