Article 6 of Decree No. 170/2025/ND-CP stipulates the priority in civil servant recruitment as follows:
1. Subjects and priority points in entrance exams or admissions
a) Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, War Invalids, and those who enjoy the same policies as war invalids and war invalids of type B: Add 7.5 points to the exam scores or professional consideration;
b) Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, conscripts, people working in key specialized jobs, graduates of reserve officer training, graduates of training for commanders of military commands at the commune level of the grassroots military sector who are conferred the rank of reserve officers who have registered for reserve officers, children of martyrs, children of war invalids, children of sick soldiers, children of people enjoying policies such as war invalids, children of type B war invalids, children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, children of Armed Forces Heroes, children of Labor Heroes: 5 points will be added to the exam scores or considered for professional skills;
c) People who have completed their military service, their duty to join the People's Public Security, and youth volunteer volunteer soldiers: 2.5 points will be added to the exam scores or professional professional review results;
d) Trade union cadres who have grown up from the grassroots level, in the workers' movement according to the regulations of competent authorities: 1.5 points will be added to the results of the exam or professional review.
2. In case the candidate takes the exam or is considered for admission in many priority areas specified in Clause 1 of this Article, only the highest priority point will be added to the exam score or professional consideration.
Thus, priority cases in civil servant recruitment are regulated as above.
