Impersonating forces to protect security and order at the grassroots level will be fined up to 2 million VND

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 25 of Decree 282/2025/ND-CP regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of security, order and social safety; prevention and control of social evils; prevention and control of domestic violence (effective from December 15, 2025) stipulates violations of regulations on the organization and operation of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level as follows:

1. Fine from 1 million VND to 2 million VND for impersonating forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

2. Fine from 3 million VND to 5 million VND for acts of insulting, threatening, obstructing, or opposing forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level while performing their duties.

3. Fines from 10 million VND to 15 million VND for the act of using forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level contrary to the provisions of the Law on Forces Participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level or committing acts that violate the law.

4. Additional penalty:

Confiscation of exhibits and means of administrative violation for violations specified in Clause 1 of this Article.

Thus, impersonating forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level will be fined up to 2 million VND.
