Aviation security checks in which cases from July 2026?

Article 12 of Decree 215/2026/ND-CP on aviation security (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates aviation security searches as follows:

1. Aviation security control forces at airports conduct aviation security searches in the following cases:

a) Passengers, flight crew members, flight attendants, other related persons, luggage, goods, mail, vehicles that when inspecting, scanning, and supervising aviation security, detect signs or information threatening the security of the flight;

b) Persons, luggage, and objects carried by the spokesperson threatening the security of the flight at the checkpoint or in restricted areas;

c) Luggage, objects of unidentified owner or manager, used discovered at airports and other restricted areas;

d) Aircraft when someone on board makes threatening statements to the safety of the flight.

2. Failure to conduct aviation security searches in cases where they enjoy inviolable rights as prescribed by law.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, aviation security searches will be carried out for the above cases.
