Clause 2, Article 128 of the 2019 Labor Code regulates temporary suspension of work as follows:
2. The duration of temporary work suspension must not exceed 15 days, and in special cases must not exceed 90 days. During the period of temporary work suspension, the employee is entitled to an advance of 50% of the salary before the work suspension.
At the end of the work suspension period, the employer must accept the employee back to work.

Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree No. 12/2022/ND-CP stipulates fine levels, sanctioning authority and principles of application to repeated administrative violations as follows:
1. The fine for organizations is 2 times the fine for individuals.
Thus, a company that temporarily suspends an employee's work beyond the time limit prescribed by law may be fined from 10,000,000 VND to 20,000,000 VND and forced to pay the full salary for the days of temporary suspension. work according to the above regulations.
