Regulations on additional income for cadres, civil servants and public employees in Ho Chi Minh City

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 12 of the Regulations on evaluating and classifying quality according to work performance for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City (effective from October 8, 2025) stipulates the payment of additional income as follows:

1. Only pay additional income for cases where cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers are classified as having good quality at the level of Completing tasks well or better.

2. Based on the results of the assessment, classification of quality and the level of additional income payment according to the provisions of the Resolution of the City People's Council, Heads of agencies and units decide to pay additional income to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers at the following specific levels:

a) Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers classified as having excellently completed their tasks are entitled to additional income at the maximum level prescribed in the Resolution of the City People's Council.

b) Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers are classified as having completed their tasks well and receiving a maximum additional income of 80% in the case of having excellently completed the tasks stated in Point a, Clause 2 of this Article.

Thus, the payment of additional income for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in Ho Chi Minh City is regulated as above.
