Number of members of the security team in Ho Chi Minh City

Article 2 of Resolution 08/2024/NQ-HDND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council (effective from July 1, 2024) stipulates the criteria for establishing a security and order protection team; the criteria for the number of members of the security and order protection team are as follows:

1. Criteria for establishing a Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level: each neighborhood and hamlet establishes 01 Security and Order Protection Team.

2. Criteria for the number of members of the Security and Order Protection Team

a) The number of members of the Security and Order Protection Team is arranged according to the population size of each neighborhood and hamlet;

b) For neighborhoods and hamlets with a population of up to 2,700 people, 03 members are arranged, including: 01 Team Leader, 01 Deputy Team Leader and 01 Team Member;

c) For neighborhoods and hamlets with over 2,700 to 3,600 people, 1 more Team member will be assigned, and when the population increases to 900 people, 1 more Team member will be assigned.

Thus, the number of members of the security and order protection team at the grassroots level in Ho Chi Minh City is regulated as above.
