Equipment of agency and business security guards according to new regulations

Article 7, Decree 290/2026/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 06/2013/ND-CP stipulating the protection of agencies and enterprises (effective from September 15, 2026) stipulates as follows:

Article 7. Amending and supplementing the name of Article 15 and some clauses of Article 15

1. Amending the name of Article 15 as follows:

Article 15. Equipment for agency and business security forces".

2. Amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 15 as follows:

1. Security forces of agencies and enterprises are equipped with uniforms, equipment and use support tools and means to serve the protection of agencies and enterprises in accordance with the law.

3. Amending and supplementing Clause 3, Article 15 as follows:

3. The Minister of Public Security shall specify and guide the equipment and management and use of vehicles equipped for the protection force of agencies and enterprises in accordance with the provisions of this Article. The equipment, management, and use of support tools for the protection force of agencies and enterprises shall be carried out in accordance with the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Support Tools and documents detailing and guiding the implementation.

4. Supplement Clause 4, Article 15 as follows:

Equipping types of vehicles for agency and business security forces: Based on actual requirements, the head of the agency or business decides on the equipment and use of types of vehicles, including modern science and technology vehicles serving security and order protection at agencies and businesses, including: Observing vehicles, entry and exit control machines at the gate of the agency or business headquarters, scanners, walkie-talkies, and other types of vehicles suitable to the actual conditions of the agency or business. In the process of implementation, agencies, businesses and agency and business security forces must ensure compliance with current laws on state budget and related legal regulations.

Thus, from September 15, 2026, the security force of agencies and businesses will be equipped with the above regulations.
