On July 24, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hoc Mon commune organized the 2026 All People's Day for National Security Protection, practically celebrating the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026).
Attending the festival were Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of Steering Committee 138 of the City; along with local leaders, agencies, units, armed forces and a large number of people in Hoc Mon commune.
Before the program, delegates visited the Center for Commanding Image of Security and Order at the commune police headquarters. At the festival, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of the People's Police force; watched videos introducing the results of building the all-people movement to protect national security and models contributing to maintaining peace in residential areas.
The festival continues to affirm the central and subjective role of the people; at the same time, promoting the coordination between the Police force, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in propaganda, mobilization, building self-management models and consolidating a solid people's security posture right from the grassroots level.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were commended and rewarded. Steering Committee 138 of the City presented gifts to 20 individuals actively participating in the movement. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City presented 30 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to policy families, poor households, near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the commune.
The festival contributes to spreading the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and joint efforts of the whole people for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
