In 2026, the Academy of Public Administration and Management uses the admission method based on the results of the competency assessment test organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City in 2026 with high school graduation exam results.
Ensuring input quality thresholds, conditions for receiving applications for admission:
- High school graduation;
- Good or higher;
- Total scores from 650 points or higher (performance assessment test results of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) and 75 points or higher (performance assessment test results of Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
- Candidates who achieve a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects, including Math, Literature and another graduation exam subject according to the Academy's regulations, must achieve a minimum score of 15.0 points.
- The average academic score for all three years of study in grades 10, 11, and 12 reaches 7.0 points or higher (This is a recruitment criterion, not used to calculate admission scores).
In 2026, the University of Labor and Social Affairs will also use the results of the University Competency Assessment exam to consider admission for training majors. The school uses the results of the Competency Assessment exam of Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and the results of the Thinking Assessment (TSA) exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2026.
For the 402 admission method (admission based on competency/thinking assessment test results):
- Candidates taking the 2026 graduation exam have a total score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination suitable for the registered major/program reaching 15.00 points or more or having a total score of Math, Literature and one other exam subject reaching 15.00 points or more. The Economic Law major is implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- The input quality assurance threshold is announced by the University of Labor and Social Affairs after candidates have the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
- Specifically for the English Language major (7220201), candidates must have an average score of English for the whole year of grade 10, grade 11 and grade 12 reaching 7.00 or higher, or the exam score of the English subject in the 2026 high school graduation exam reaching 5.00 or higher.
For Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, in 2026, the school will use the results of the Capacity Assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2026 for admission consideration.
Regarding the entrance threshold, the school announces the entrance threshold scores of admission methods according to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training after the Ministry announces the score distribution of the 2026 high school graduation exam results and other admission score data, before the end of the deadline for registration of admission aspirations in the first phase of candidates.
