The entrance exam for grade 10 of non-professional public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on June 7 and 8. At exactly 9:00 a.m. on June 6, all candidates were present at the exam room to complete the exam procedures.
The whole city of Hanoi has nearly 104,000 candidates registered to take the exam.
Candidates must take 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. In addition to English, candidates can choose any foreign language from the subjects of French, Japanese, German, and Korean to take the entrance exam to all high schools in the city while still being able to study the main foreign language, English.
The total admission score this year has been reduced from 50 to 30 due to not doubling the Math and Literature scores. In addition, the exam scores and the benchmark scores will be announced at the same time.
To organize the exam, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training established 201 exam locations, located at junior high schools and high schools.
These test points have been carefully inspected by the City and District, Town and City Exam Steering Committees, ensuring safety conditions in accordance with the exam regulations.
Candidates should base on the exam scores recorded in their exam reports to arrive at the correct address and time.
