On the morning of June 12, more than 1.2 million candidates nationwide continued to enter the second day of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2026 high school graduation exam includes 4 exam subjects. After completing two compulsory subjects, Literature and Mathematics on June 11, candidates continue to take two elective subjects from the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Informatics, Economic and Legal Education, Industrial-Oriented Technology, Agricultural-Oriented Technology and Foreign Languages. Candidates are allowed to register for a Foreign Language subject different from the foreign language being studied at a high school.
All elective subjects have a test time of 50 minutes. According to the exam schedule, candidates take the first subject from 7:35 AM to 8:25 AM and the second subject from 8:35 AM to 9:25 AM. During the time between the two exam sessions, candidates are not allowed to leave the exam area, except in special cases and must be supervised by functional forces.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that the 2026 high school graduation exam questions are designed according to the orientation of competency assessment, closely following the 2018 general education program. The questions are designed according to many levels from recognition, understanding to application, both meeting the requirements of high school graduation consideration and serving university admissions.
