The Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam in 2026 includes three parts:
Compulsory essay, compulsory multiple-choice, and optional multiple-choice.
Candidates take the exam in 180 minutes in the written form.
The total score of the exam is 100 points. In which, the Essay section (compulsory) is 25 points and the Multiple Choice section is 75 points.
In the field of knowledge, the essay part is compulsory: The exam part includes 1 (one) social commentary question, the maximum total score is 25 points.
The Multiple Choice section, with a total of 80 questions, the maximum score is 75 points. Of which, 70% are 12th grade knowledge; 30% are 10th and 11th grade knowledge. Questions at the level of knowledge and understanding account for 30% of the questions, the level of application accounts for 50% of the questions, and the level of high application accounts for 20% of the questions.
Compulsory Multiple Choice section: Mathematics has 35 questions; total maximum score is 35 points; History: has 10 questions, total maximum score is 10 points; Foreign Language (English Language) has 20 questions, total maximum score is 15 points.
Optional Multiple Choice Part: 15 questions, total maximum score is 15 points. Candidates choose one of the following subjects: Physics (CA1), Chemistry (CA2), Biology (CA3), Geography (CA4).
