Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Thanh Dat said that in 2026, CAND academies and schools will continue to maintain the stability of admission combinations, the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exams and enrollment methods as in previous years, in order to ensure stability for candidates and convenience in enrollment organization.
3 new regular university admission methods this year include: Direct admission (method 1); Combined admission of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test with international foreign language certificate (method 2); Combined admission of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test with high school graduation exam scores (method 3).
Admission combinations are still kept stable similar to 2025, ensuring compliance with the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2026, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to organize the Evaluation Exam to serve as a basis for admission to People's Police academies and schools.
The exam will take place on June 20 and 21. On June 20, candidates will complete exam procedures and on June 21, candidates will take the official exam.
Candidates will register for preliminary selection at People's Police academies and schools, at Commune and Ward Police from March 15 to April 15.
After April 15, the students continue with the preliminary selection unit at the commune and ward levels to complete dossiers, declare their background, political standards, health, academic performance... to receive results that meet or do not meet the preliminary selection conditions.
On May 20, the local police will complete the preliminary selection and submit dossiers to the People's Police schools to organize the exam.
The CAND enrollment guidelines will soon be issued by the Ministry of Public Security in the near future" - Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Thanh Dat said.
The Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam retains the same structure as last year, the exam time is 180 minutes, including 4 codes and candidates will choose one of 4 codes:

The formula for calculating admission scores of police schools is as follows:
Admission score = (Total score of three graduation exam subjects x 2/5) + (Evaluation exam score x 3/5) + Priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points.
