To date, many universities have announced their expected enrollment plans for 2026, which apply the form of admission based on high school transcripts and set a floor score for receiving applications from candidates.
Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry has announced information on enrollment for regular university level in 2026.
With the admission method based on high school academic results (taking into account transcripts), the expected admission application score threshold is as follows:
- The total average score for the whole year of grade 12 of high school (including priority points) of 3 subjects according to the admission combination is expected to reach 18 points or higher.
For Yersin University Da Lat, in 2026, the school plans to consider admission based on 04 methods:
- Method 1: Admission based on academic transcripts based on the average score of 3 subjects in grade 12;
- Method 2: Admission based on transcripts based on the average score for the whole year of 12th grade;
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam;
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City or organized universities.
In which, the expected admission score threshold is as follows:
Method 1: Admission based on academic transcripts based on the average score of 3 subjects in grade 12
- The admission score is the average score of 3 subjects in grade 12 according to the admission combination (the average score is rounded to 01 (one) decimal point); plus regional and subject priority points according to the Ministry's regulations.
- Admission score of 18 or higher.
- Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy: The academic results for the whole year of 12th grade are evaluated as good (learning ability ranked from excellent or higher) or the high school graduation consideration score from 8.0 or higher.
- Nursing major: The academic results for the whole year of 12th grade are assessed as fairly good (learning ability ranked from fairly good or higher) or the high school graduation consideration score is from 6.5 or higher.
Method 2: Admission based on the average score for the whole year of 12th grade
- The admission score is the average score of grade 12 multiplied by a coefficient of 3 to be converted to a score scale of 30 (the admission score is rounded to 01 (one) decimal point); plus regional and subject priority points according to the Ministry's regulations.
- Admission score of 18 or higher.
- Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy: The academic results for the whole year of 12th grade are evaluated as good (learning ability ranked from excellent or higher) or the high school graduation consideration score from 8.0 or higher.
- Nursing major: The academic results for the whole year of 12th grade are assessed as fairly good (learning ability ranked from fairly good or higher) or the high school graduation consideration score is from 6.5 or higher.
At Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH), in 2026, USTH plans to enroll 1,200 students with 4 methods:
- Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by the school.
- Admission based on academic ability combined with interview.
- Direct admission according to the school's enrollment information.
- Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
For method 2.2, the conditions for admission based on high school academic results combined with interviews are as follows:
Admission subjects: High school graduates in 2026.
- Candidates with average scores of 03 out of 06 subjects Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, English of grades 11 and 12 suitable for one of the admission subject combinations of the training program reaching 8.3/10 or higher.
- The academic results of grades 11 and 12 are evaluated from Good or higher.
