Comrade Tran Tri Quang: The delegation of Vinh Long province is very honored to participate in the 14th National Congress of the Party - a particularly important political event, marking a new turning point in the country's development. The Congress conducted a summary and assessment of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Congress in the past 5 years, and at the same time identified directions and development goals for the next 5 years, towards two important milestones: the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Attending the Congress, the Vinh Long Provincial Delegation, as well as delegations from all over the country, seriously implemented the Working Regulations of the Congress, promoted a high sense of responsibility, and focused their intelligence on contributing opinions to the documents submitted to the Congress. During the discussion process, the province's delegates participated in many heartfelt opinions, stemming from grassroots practices and specific local conditions, contributing to fully reflecting the voices from practice, contributing to the completion of political reports and major orientations of the Congress.

Comrade Tran Tri Quang: Based on thoroughly grasping the spirit of the 14th Party Congress, and also stemming from the Resolution of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress for the new term, the province identifies to focus on implementing three strategic breakthroughs.
The first breakthrough is to effectively organize the implementation of resolutions and conclusions of the Central Government. Practice shows that the good implementation of the Central Government's resolutions will create a legal corridor, resources and important driving force for local development. The province pays special attention to key resolutions such as science and technology development, infrastructure development, education and training, health, and investment attraction, especially in the field of renewable energy. This is an important foundation for the province to innovate its growth model and develop in a sustainable and modern direction.
The second breakthrough is the breakthrough in human resources. To successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution, the human factor plays a key role, especially the team of officials organizing and implementing. Over the past time, the organization of implementation has still had certain limitations. However, with careful preparation for the new term, the province believes that human resources will be fully and synchronously prepared, ready to meet task requirements, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution.
The third breakthrough is to focus on developing synchronous infrastructure. Currently, infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, is still one of the major bottlenecks of the province. In this term, Vinh Long focuses on investing in connecting transport infrastructure, industrial park and cluster infrastructure, renewable energy infrastructure, and at the same time focuses on developing data infrastructure and digital transformation infrastructure. These are key factors, creating a foundation for the province to successfully implement the development goals set out.
Vinh Long province has the advantage of a large sea space with a length of more than 130km, which is very favorable to become a marine economic center and a renewable energy production center of the Mekong Delta region as well as the whole country. Sir, please tell us about the province's major orientations in developing this field in the coming time?
Comrade Tran Tri Quang: On the basis of merging the development space of the three provinces of Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh, Vinh Long province has only a coastline of more than 130km. This is a great advantage for marine economic development. Over the past time, the exploitation of marine potential has achieved some results, but it is still not commensurate with the existing potential.
In the province's adjusted planning in the coming time, Vinh Long identifies focusing on effectively exploiting the marine economy, expanding the marine space, and clearly defining the goal of building the province into a renewable energy center of the region. With favorable natural and coastal geological conditions, the province has been and is calling for many investment projects in the field of renewable energy.
We believe that the development of renewable energy associated with the marine economy, coastal economic zones, including Dinh An Marine Economic Zone, will become a new breakthrough, creating an important driving force to bring Vinh Long province to develop quickly and sustainably in the coming time.
Dear comrade, one of the important breakthroughs identified by the first Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress is to build a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, connecting smoothly with localities and focal points in the Mekong Delta region. Please tell us how the province will implement this orientation?
Comrade Tran Tri Quang: Vinh Long province has a unique terrain with many large rivers such as Tien River, Hau River, Co Chien River, Ham Luong River flowing into the East Sea. Waterway transport has many advantages, but road transport is still fragmented, especially at major river crossings. Over the past time, the Central Government and the province have paid attention to investing in many important transport infrastructure projects. However, in the coming time, the province needs to continue to invest to complete the infrastructure system, especially highways, national highways and coastal roads. These are vital traffic axes, playing an important role in the socio-economic development of the province, strengthening regional connectivity and creating motivation for Vinh Long to develop more strongly in the coming time.
