On the morning of July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam scores of more than 1.16 million candidates.
This year's exam ended with many outstanding marks, not only in the statistics but also in the excellent valedictorians from all over the country.
In particular, the whole country recorded 9 candidates with an absolute score of 30/30 in two combinations A00 (Math - Physics - Chemistry) and B00 (Math - Chemistry - Biology).
With the A00 (Math - Physics - Chemistry) admission combination, there are 8 students nationwide with an absolute score of 30 points:
1. Nguyen Duy Phong - student of Chuong My A High School, Hanoi. Phong achieved an absolute score of 10 in all three subjects of Math, Physics, Chemistry in the A00 group.
2. Nguyen Tu Quyet - student of Nguyen Gia Thieu High School, Hanoi. I also excellently entered the A00 list of valedictorians with three absolute scores of 10.
3. Nguyen Viet Hung - student of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Hanoi). I won the first prize in both the A00 and D01 blocks, in which 30 points were for the A00 block and 29.75 points were for the D01 block. Before the exam, he had an IELTS score of 8.0 and SAT was 1,560/1,600.
With this result, Viet Hung is placing his first wish in the Computer Science major of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
4. Nguyen Quang Minh - a student majoring in Mathematics, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted No. 1, Bac Ninh province. Minh is one of the students who majored in absolute scoring in the A00 group.
5. Nguyen Le Hien Mai - student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho. He also impressed with a grade 12 GPA of 9.5 and won first and second prizes in the provincial excellent student exam in Chemistry.
6. Tran Huu Thinh - a student at Hung Nhan High School, Hung Yen Province (formerly in Thai Binh). I also achieved a full score of 30 points in A00. With a score of 30/30, Thinh plans to apply to the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi for the semiconductor Technology major.
7. Nguyen Dieu Linh - a student at Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen province (formerly in Thai Binh). Linh achieved an absolute score of 30/30 in the A00 group.
8. Nguyen Thai An - student of Kim Son A High School, Ninh Binh province. An also excellently won all 30 points in the A00 group. With this result, it is expected that female student Nguyen Thai An will submit her first wish to Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
9. In addition to the 8 head teachers of the A00 block, candidate Tran Duc Tai - a student at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Ho Chi Minh City - was the only person to achieve an absolute score of 30 points in the B00 group.
10. With 29.75 points in the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography), Nguyen Tran Yen Nhi - a student of class 12D1 at Cua Lo High School, Nghe An - has excellently won the top position in the C00 group in 2025.
