Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Vice Principal of Hanoi University - said that the 2025 high school graduation exam scores show that the D01 combination results (Math, Literature, English) - the combination of admission to all regular university training programs of the school is lower than last year.
"The school's training majors have high social needs and have been in the group of majors with high entrance scores for many years, so this year's benchmark scores may only fluctuate between 0.5 - 1.5 points compared to 2024" - Dr. Dung predicted.
According to predictions, the majors expected to have high benchmark scores are Korean Language, Chinese Language, English Language, Japanese Language, Information Technology, Marketing... These are the majors in the past 5 years in the group with the highest benchmark scores in the school.
CMC University
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Principal of CMC University said that the average score for the Math exam this year is generally low. The school plans to lower the benchmark scores for some majors with admission combinations related to Math. For majors that receive a large number of applications, the benchmark score may decrease by about 0.5 - 1 point compared to last year.

University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - Vice Principal of the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - said that the scores of admission combinations this year have a difference between majors and majors.
It is predicted that the benchmark scores of some majors other than pedagogical can decrease by 1-2 points compared to last year. However, the benchmark score for the pedagogical major may not decrease, or even increase.
Hong Duc University
Speaking to reporters, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Dung - Principal of Hong Duc University - said that according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, starting from August 13, virtual screenings will start and before 5:00 p.m. on August 20, higher education institutions will determine the admission score. After that, the schools will announce the benchmark scores before August 22, 2025.
"With the number of applications/number of targets assigned by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, I think that this year's benchmark score could increase slightly (0.5 - 0.75 points) compared to the admission score in 2024" - Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Dung predicted.
