Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - Vice Principal of the school - predicted that the admission score is differentiated between the pedagogical and non-pedagogical sectors.
For the pedagogical major, it still attracts a large number of candidates to register. As of the time of closing the wish registration portal, the University of Education has recorded more than 50,000 unfiltered wishes, double last year. Therefore, the benchmark score for the pedagogical major this year is expected to not decrease, and may even increase.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam also recommended that for pedagogical majors, candidates with admission scores equal to or higher than the average of the previous 3 years can rest assured, candidates 1-2 points lower than this level need to consider carefully.
For majors other than pedagogical majors in the school's education science major, due to admission according to majors and sub-majorities after the first year, the benchmark score can be lower than the pedagogical major. The level of 23 points is considered a safe threshold for candidates to confidently register for admission to the school.
In 2024, the admission score to the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi according to the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 24.92 - 28.89 points. Accordingly, the Primary Education major has the highest benchmark score.
At Hong Duc University, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Dung - Principal of the school said: "With the number of applications/number of targets assigned by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, I think that this year's admission score could increase slightly (0.5 to 0.75 points) compared to the admission score in 2024".
In 2024, in the Pedagogy group of Hong Duc University, the highest admission score is 28.83 points for the Literature Pedagogy major.
