In 2026, Hanoi Capital University enrolls 2,420 students with 3 admission methods: Direct admission; Admission based on high school academic results (admission records); Admission using high school graduation exam results.
Tuition fees for 2026 of Hanoi Capital University are expected to be about 1.9 - 2.2 million VND/month of study depending on the training major.

Regarding tuition fee support and living expenses for teacher training majors:
- Based on the enrollment targets for teacher training majors notified to the School by the Ministry of Education and Training and assigned tasks and orders from localities, candidates who are admitted and enrolled in teacher training majors, if they wish to enjoy tuition fee and living expenses support, they must have a request to enjoy and commit to reimbursement of expenses according to State regulations.
- For students who do not wish to enjoy tuition fee and living expenses support, they do not have to submit an application and will pay tuition fees according to the University's regulations.
For Vietnam Japan University (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), in 2026, the school will increase the tuition fee for the Construction Engineering major by 10 million VND/year, to 35 million VND/year, but maintain the level of 58 million VND/year for the remaining majors.

The school notes that tuition fees are collected per semester, with two semesters each year. Tuition fees do not include enrollment fees, enrollment fees, re-study fees, grade improvement fees and fees for other additional services arising or students who do not complete the standard training plan correctly.
At the Academy of Policy and Development, the school has set out the expected tuition fee for the 2026 - 2027 school year as follows:
- Standard system program: 28,000 VND/student/school year.
- High-quality program: 35,000,000 - 40,000,000 VND/student/school year.
- International career orientation program: 35,000,000 VND/student/school year.
The roadmap for increasing tuition fees annually is implemented according to Decree No. 238/2025/ND-CP dated September 3, 2025 of the Government.
This expected level is higher than in previous years. Last year, the tuition fee for majors/standard training programs was 20.15 million VND/year; 28.3 million VND/year for high-quality programs taught in Vietnamese/high-quality programs taught in English.
