On the morning of May 23, more than 43,500 candidates in Da Nang entered the first day of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year with Literature (120 minutes). In the afternoon of the same day, candidates will take the Foreign Language exam (60 minutes).
At exam sites such as Thai Phien High School (Thanh Khe ward) and Phan Chau Trinh High School (Hai Chau ward), functional forces were present early to regulate traffic and ensure security and order.
This year, Da Nang has 110 exam sites and 6 reserve exam sites, and there are 7 exam sites for specialized high schools.
At the Phan Chau Trinh High School exam site area, functional forces were present early to divert and regulate traffic at key intersections. Police officers and volunteers continuously reminded and guided parents not to stop and park their cars on the road, avoiding localized congestion during peak hours, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to go to school.
Previously, on May 22, leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City affirmed that the preparation for this year's exam has been closely coordinated by the Department with relevant departments, agencies, and sectors to be thoroughly implemented. All security and safety assurance plans have been carefully prepared, determined to bring the exam to take place in accordance with regulations, seriously and create the most comfortable psychology for candidates.
The exam takes place on two days, May 23 - 24. Candidates taking the exam for Le Quy Don Specialized High School will take the specialized subject on May 25.
