In 2026, the National Economics University is expected to enroll about 9,000 students for 73 majors. In addition, the National Economics University is expected to enroll some new majors/training programs, but has not announced details.
3 enrollment methods in 2026 are similar to last year, including: Direct admission; Admission based on high school graduation exam scores; Combined admission.
Direct admission method, applied to one of the following groups: Policy candidates, who are admitted directly according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; won third or higher prizes in national excellent student contests; won first or higher prizes in the national science and technology exam.
The admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the school applies with four combinations including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English). Candidates who are admitted directly but do not use it will be added 1-2 points when registering for admission based on the graduation exam score.
Combined admission is the main method, divided into three groups.
Compared to 2025, in 2026, National Economics University continues not to consider admission based on high school transcript scores.
At the University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the school uses 3 main admission methods for domestic enrollment as follows:
- Admission method using the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam (including International English certificate admission combined with the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam).
- Admission based on the results of the high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
- Direct admission according to the Enrollment Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
For joint training with foreign countries, the school uses the following admission methods:
- Admission consideration combined with high school academic results and international English certificates.
- Considering high school academic results
- SAT, ACT, A-LEVEL international certificate admission.
- Considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
- Admission based on the results of the high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
- Admission consideration for high school graduates abroad.
Thus, the school only considers transcript scores independently of international affiliated programs.

At Nha Trang University, the school plans to enroll 3,800 targets for 71 training programs belonging to 50 admission codes.

- PT1: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- PT3: Admission based on the high school graduation exam scores in 2026.
Compared to 2025, in 2026, Nha Trang University continues not to consider admission based on high school transcript scores.
