Accordingly, the university plans to enroll about 9,000 students for 73 majors. In addition, the National Economics University plans to enroll a number of new majors/training programs, but has not announced details.
3 admission methods in 2026 are similar to last year, including: Direct admission; Consideration according to high school graduation exam scores; Combined admission.
Direct admission method, applied to one of the following groups: Candidates subject to policies, directly admitted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; winning third prize or more in national competitions for excellent students; first prize or more in the national science and technology competition.
The admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the school applies to four combinations: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English). Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not use them will be added 1-2 points when registering for consideration based on graduation exam scores.
Combined admission is the main method, divided into three groups.
Group 1 is for candidates with an international SAT certificate of 1,200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher. These are two popular standardized tests in the US.
Group 2 is for candidates with the results of the competency and thinking assessment test, at least 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA. Students can use independent test scores, or combine them with international English certificates such as IELTS from 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46 or higher.
Group 3 is contestants with an English certificate combined with graduation exam scores in Mathematics and another subject. The conditions for certificates are similar to group 2.

The National Economics University said that the equivalent conversion between methods will be announced later, based on the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, for the combined admission method, the entrance threshold is the condition for submitting documents for each subject in each combined admission group.
The scores are calculated on a 30-point scale and rounded to two decimal places. The school does not use the results of the Foreign Language exam exemption, and does not consider the graduation exam scores of previous years.
The tuition fee in 2026 of the National Economics University is expected to be about 20-28 million VND for the standard program, 45 70 million VND for the advanced, high-quality, and application-oriented program (POHE).
