University of Transport announces the admission method, admission subject combination and expected university enrollment targets for the full-time system in 2026 as follows:
1. Admission method: Admission based on 4 methods:
- Method 1: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam and students who won national and international awards.
Use the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam for admission consideration. The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects of the admission registration combination (including the score of Math multiplied by 2; excluding English major, the score of English multiplied by 2) and priority points (if any).
Direct admission for students who win national and international awards.
Candidates who win first, second, or third prizes in the national and international excellent student selection exams or the national and international science and technology exams organized and assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning prizes is no more than 3 years from the time of admission consideration, have graduated from high school, and are directly considered for admission to the school according to the major suitable for the exam. Specifically as follows:

- Method 2: Combined admission between high school academic results and the condition of high school graduation exam scores in 2026 (combined admission):
Combined admission only applies to candidates with a Math exam score in the 2026 high school graduation exam from 5.0 or higher (except for Applied Mathematics major, the Math exam score must reach 6.0 or higher). The admission score is the total score of three subjects in the admission combination (suffering 3 years of high school) (including the Math score multiplied by 2; excluding English Language major, the English score multiplied by 2) and priority points (if any).
In which the scores of each subject of the three subjects in the admission combination do not have an average score of any subject (calculated according to each school year) below 5.5 points.
- Method 3: Admission based on the competency assessment results of Vietnam National University Hanoi in 2026 for some enrollment and training majors in Hanoi and admission based on the competency assessment results of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2026 for enrollment and training majors at the Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
- Method 4: Admission based on the 2026 thinking assessment results of Hanoi University of Science and Technology with some admission and training majors in Hanoi.
2. Priority conditions in admission consideration:
- Priority according to admission subjects and admission areas: Implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Priority according to the enrollment plan of the University of Transport:
Candidates who win first/second/threeth prizes in the provincial/city-level excellent student exam (winning time is no more than 3 years from the time of admission consideration (effective until June 30, 2026));
Candidates with IELTS certificates from 5.0 or higher (issued after June 30, 2024);
3. Regarding the enrollment scale, the school plans to enroll 6,660 quotas for standard and high-quality training programs, along with 70 quotas for international lien ket programs.
4. Regarding subject combinations for admission consideration, the school uses the following combinations: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D03 (Math, Literature, French), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English), V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts Drawing), V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts Drawing), X06 (Math, Physics, Informatics).
