- 409: Admission based on high school graduation exam results combined with international certificates.
- 500: Admission consideration for students completing university preparatory programs.
Considering transferring students who have completed the university preparatory program combined with aptitude tests (For Music Pedagogy, Physical Education, Sports Training majors).

Compared to 2025, in 2026, the University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) continues not to consider transcripts, and at the same time removes the consideration of scores for two separate exams, V-SAT and HSA. Instead, the school added a method of combining graduation exam scores with international certificates. Criteria and admission combinations have not been announced.
Hanoi National University of Education 2 has announced 6 official university admission methods for 2026, including: Direct admission; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering high school transcripts; considering the results of independent exams organized by Hanoi National University of Education 2 and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education; admission based on the above methods combined with aptitude test scores.
With the transcript review method, instead of considering admission for all majors as last year, the school limits it to majors: Preschool Education, Physical Education, Civic Education, Informatics Pedagogy, Information Technology, Material Sciences, Sports Management, Vietnamese Studies, Education Studies (expected), Political Economy (expected).
For Hanoi National University of Education, the school plans to enroll students according to 3 methods: Considering the high school graduation exam scores in 2026; Considering candidates with outstanding capacity and achievements; Considering the results of the competency assessment (SPT) exam in 2026.
Thus, compared to 2025, in 2026, Hanoi National University of Education continues not to consider academic transcripts.
