In 2025, the University of Water Resources will enroll 5,350 full-time university students for 43 training majors. The school enrolls students according to 4 admission methods:
- Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Admission to high school transcripts combined with priority: Average of subjects of grades 10, 11, 12 + Priority score + Foreign language certificate score.
- Admission from the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
- Admission from the results of the thinking assessment test (cluster K00).

Admission methods include:
- Method 1: Admission based on high school academic results (academic records): Use the general average score of subjects in the combination of the two semesters of grades 11 and 12.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

In 2025, Hai Phong University of Management and Technology will enroll students in the following ways:
- Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
- Admission based on the learning results of the entire 12th grade (High School transcript of grade 12).
