In 2026, Electric Power University will implement 4 admission methods, including: admission based on high school academic results (admission records); admission combining international English certificates with academic records; admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam; and direct admission according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
With the transcript review method, candidates are allowed to use the average score for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 of the three subjects in the admission combination. The basic condition is that the total score of the three high school graduation exam subjects reaches at least 15 points and the total average score of the three subjects in the combination is no less than 18 points (30-point scale).
For combined admission with international English certificates, Electric Power University accepts IELTS certificates from 4.5 or TOEFL iBT from 32 and above that are still valid. The English certificate score will be converted to an equivalent scale and combined with the transcript scores of the other two subjects in the admission combination.
In addition, the school continues to apply the admission method based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam. Notably, for combinations with English, candidates can use IELTS or TOEFL iBT certificates to replace the English exam score if they are still valid according to regulations.
