5 admission methods
The Vietnam Women's Academy has announced the enrollment plan for 2026.
In 2026, the Vietnam Women's Academy enrolls 12 undergraduate training majors, focusing on three main field groups: Economics - Management; Social - Humanities - Law; Technology.
In 12 training majors, there are a total of 17 training programs. The training programs are built in the direction of application, strengthening practice, professional skills and business linkage. This is also a difference of the Academy compared to many traditional training institutions.
The 5 admission methods applied by the academy this year include: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry; admission based on high school graduation exam results; admission based on high school transcripts; admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Hanoi National University of Education.
Standardizing admission combinations, requiring Math or Literature
In 2026, according to the new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, all admission combinations from the high school graduation exam results must: Have at least 3 subjects suitable for the training program; Must have Math or Literature subjects; This compulsory subject must have a scoring weight not less than 1/3 of the total score according to the 30-point scale.
This adjustment is aimed at ensuring that candidates have solid foundational abilities, avoiding the situation of unbalanced admissions between subject groups.
The Vietnam Women's Academy has reviewed the entire admission combination of 12 training majors to ensure compliance with new regulations, while maintaining stability so that candidates are not too disrupted during the preparation process.
Specifying and narrowing the conditions for considering transcripts
Compared to 2025, admission based on high school academic results (grade books) in 2026 is regulated more strictly: Admission score is based on the average score of 6 semesters of 3 subjects according to the combination; In the compulsory combination, there is Math or Literature; The compulsory subject must account for at least 1/3 of the total admission score.
This means that candidates who want to use the transcript review method not only need high scores in grade 12 but also must maintain stable academic results throughout 3 years of high school.
Adjustment of bonus points policy
Vietnam Women's Academy announces the bonus points policy for 2026 as follows:
Bonus points: 3 points for candidates who meet the conditions for direct admission but do not use the right (hang 30).
Award consideration score: 1 - 1.5 points for candidates with outstanding achievements or talents (applied to candidates who won prizes at the provincial/city level).
Bonus points: From 0.25 - 1.5 points for candidates with foreign language certificates or international certificates.
Converting foreign language subject scores for candidates using international English certificates (applied to the high school exam scoring method) as follows:

Prioritizing regions and subjects: Implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Clearly classifying each group of plus points helps ensure fairness and control input quality.
Ensuring input quality threshold: Differentiation by industry
In addition to the common threshold of a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination reaching 15 points or more, the Vietnam Women's Academy also clearly stipulates separate conditions for some specialized majors.
Law and Economic Law majors: Minimum score of 6 in Math or Literature; Total score of 3 subjects from 18 or higher.
Information Technology major: Average score of Math according to transcripts is 7 or higher.
With the adjustments of the 2026 regulations, the Vietnam Women's Academy notes that candidates not only need to focus on improving their scores but also need to have a clear strategy:
Maintain stable academic results for all 3 years of high school if you intend to consider transcripts.
Focus on Math or Literature depending on the major's orientation.
Take advantage of international foreign language certificates.
Arrange aspirations in the correct order of priority.
