Enrollment 2026: Series of universities applying based on high school transcripts

In 2026, Electric Power University will implement 4 admission methods, including: admission based on high school academic results (admission records); admission combining international English certificates with academic records; admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam; and direct admission according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

With the transcript review method, candidates are allowed to use the average score for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 of the three subjects in the admission combination. The basic condition is that the total score of the three high school graduation exam subjects reaches at least 15 points and the total average score of the three subjects in the combination is no less than 18 points (30-point scale).

At Hanoi Capital University, the school continues to apply the form of considering high school transcripts (records) in the 2026 enrollment season. In which, the admission score is the general average score of academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 of subjects according to the admission combination.

Admission score = (Subject 1) + (Subject 2) + (Subject 3) + [UT score (if any)]

Priority score = [(30 - Total score achieved)/7.50] x Priority score level as prescribed.

The school notes that for all admission methods, the school rounds once at the final admission score to two decimal places.

In the 2026 enrollment season, Vinh Industrial University also maintains the form of admission based on high school transcripts.

- Admission principle: Admission according to each major, admission from high to low until the quota is used up.

- Admission scores (ĐXT) are calculated according to the formula:

ĐXT = Total score of grades 10, 11, 12 of subjects belonging to the admission combination + regional and subject priority points (if any).

For the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University, in 2026, the school will consider admission based on high school transcripts for all training majors:

- The scores of subjects in the admission subject combination are the average general academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 of each subject (rounded to 01 decimal point).

- Admission score rounded to 02 decimal places, maximum 30 points and calculated as follows:

Priority points by region, priority subject (According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training), gradually reduced from 22.5 points to ensure not exceeding a total of 30 points;

- Bonus points include: Bonus points, Bonus consideration points and Consolation points according to Hue University regulations and not exceeding 10% of the maximum score of the score scale.
