The Miss Vietnam 2020 contest once attracted attention when it gathered a group of potential contestants. That year, beauty Do Thi Ha from Thanh Hoa won the highest position.
Notably, since Miss Vietnam 2020, a series of beauties who "lost" to Do Thi Ha at this contest have all been crowned in different beauty contests.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 Vo Le Que Anh
On the night of August 3, 2024, the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest (Miss Peace Vietnam 2024) ended with the victory of beauty Vo Le Que Anh from Quang Nam.
She will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2024 held in Thailand and Cambodia on October 25.
However, the victory of the beauty of Quang Nam caused many viewers to argue about the criteria for choosing the beauty queen of the contest.
Previously, Que Anh won runner-up at Hue University in 2020, and 1st runner-up at Miss Tourism Da Nang 2022.
Notably, many people also realized that the new Miss Grand Vietnam had registered at the Miss Vietnam 2020 contest but only stopped in the top 40.
Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong
Miss Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was born in 1999. At the Miss Vietnam 2020 contest, she reached the top 5 finals with the sub-prize of "Humanity Beauty".
Previously, she was crowned Miss Dong Nai University 2018.
Returning to Miss World Vietnam 2022, Mai Phuong impressed the audience right from the first rounds thanks to her excellent English and eloquence skills.
At the final night of Miss World Vietnam 2022, Mai Phuong was crowned convincingly with the additional achievements "Talented Beauty" and "Queen Talks".
Mai Phuong won the right to represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2023 contest held in India. At the competition, she finished in the top 40 with additional achievements such as winning the Communications competition and reaching the top 25 in the Head-to-Head Challenge.
Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc
Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was born in 2001. At the Miss Vietnam 2020 contest, although she impressed with her "huge" height of 1m86, she only stopped in the top 22 finals. This is the first beauty contest she has ever participated in.
In 2022, the Can Tho beauty returns to the beauty race, registering at Miss World Vietnam 2022.
Bao Ngoc won the title of 1st runner-up of the contest and the additional prize "Fashion Beauty", winning the right to represent Vietnam in the Miss Intercontinental 2022 contest.
At this contest, Bao Ngoc excellently was crowned the highest title and the secondary prize was the title of Miss Intercontinental Asia & Oceania.
This is the first Vietnamese representative to be crowned in this international beauty arena.
Miss Vietnam Ethnic Groups 2022 Nong Thuy Hang
Miss Nong Thuy Hang was born in 1999. Initially, she participated and reached the top 40 in both contests, Miss World Vietnam 2019 and Miss Vietnam 2020.
In 2022, she continued to compete in Miss Vietnam Ethnic Groups 2022 and was crowned the top winner.
Notably, despite winning the highest position, Nong Thuy Hang was not allowed to represent Vietnam in Miss Earth 2023 - an international competition in which the organizers of Miss Ethnic Groups of Vietnam 2022 hold the copyright. Instead, 2nd runner-up Thach Thu Thao was chosen by the organizers to compete in the international competition.
After missing an appointment with Miss Earth, in 2023, the Tay ethnic beauty was announced as the Vietnamese representative to attend the 2023 Miss International Friendship contest.
On the final night, she was crowned as 2nd runner-up.
