In addition, if the behavior causes more serious consequences (for example: causing public confusion, seriously affecting social order), the violator may be prosecuted for criminal liability under Article 288 of the 2015 Penal Code, for the crime of "Illegal provision or use of computer network information, telecommunications network", with a fine of up to 200 million VND or imprisonment of up to 7 years.
