The new Miss Phuong Linh is currently an IT specialist at a domestic corporation. She graduated from Washington University (USA) with a major in Business and Information Technology Chain Management with a GPA of 3.6/4.0, and has worked at one of the world's four leading auditing corporations.
Previously, in the final round on the evening of June 21, Phuong Linh was named for the highest position of the contest. The beauty's results were supported by the majority of the audience because throughout the process, Phuong Linh was a girl who showed quite good form and was always in the top of the contest.
However, before this result, there were still some viewers who thought it was not worth it and many doubts such as: Why didn't the beauty answer in English in the behavioral round, why did she make such a move as knowing clearly that she was sure to be in the top 5 when the MC had just read the name "HCMC"?
Regarding these debates, Phuong Linh responded. She said that in the behavioral round, she wanted to use Vietnamese to answer because she wanted her round to be the most complete and emotional. As for her English ability, she believes that the audience has clearly seen that during her competition.
With the suspicion of knowing in advance about being in the top 5, the beauty queen said that at that moment, she could not clearly remember which contestant from Ho Chi Minh City was like her. Therefore, when the MC read the name "HCMC", she was happy and thought she was in the top 5.
Miss Phuong Linh also responded about having a tattoo on her arm. The beauty queen said that this tattoo has been following her for many years and it is like a memory, a journey for her to look back and constantly move forward.
Regarding the view of young people having a pet or excluding tattoos, Phuong Linh said it is the personal right of each person and she respects that.
In the journey of Miss Universe Vietnam, Phuong Linh affirmed that she is just a new person, completely not having much experience in beauty pageants. At first, when deciding to compete in a beauty pageant, Phuong Linh said her parents were very surprised because they thought she had a stable job, why did she commit to the beauty pageant?
However, the family later supported and cheered Phuong Linh and gave her more motivation in her new journey.
